The international event devoted to footwear at Fieramilano, Micam opened last September 18th at Fiera Milano, with 1,595 exhibitors – one third of them foreigners – covering a surface of over 70 thousand square meters.
On this occasion, the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers (ANCI) organized the Micam Week, a week of events held in Milan and dedicated to the world of shoes.
“It is an unmissable business event” says Cleto Sagripanti, President at ANCI. “It is a prestigious international showcase and a meeting place for the most qualified operators.”
This year Micam is focusing on China, a country where exports of Made in Italy footwear are experiencing the highest growth levels.
The Micam Point in Via Borgonovo will be the center of the “off show” events, with meetings discussing the trends and initiatives dedicated to the over 60s, as well.
